Heading into Exeter, you can take advantage of the half term events at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum- taking place over the week you can get involved with mask making or creating your own rain stick – ideal if the weather turns against you! Nearby, Crealy Theme Park has a proper party going on with their Pop in the Park running from 15th – 21st February. With a full line up being revealed soon, spend your half term enjoying some poptacular performances in between thrilling adventures and rides!

The Guess How Much I Love You adventure trail runs daily from 15th February through until the end of the year, but that’s not all, there are craft and planting activities, storytelling, face painting, welly walking and Puppet Theatre shows to enjoy too!

Elsewhere, the Big Sheep have loads on offer from 15th – 23rd February. Stop off to watch lambing live, or visit the animal barn and feed the new babies. That’s as well as the regular live shows, thrilling rides and the indoor play zone!

South Devon

The Box in Plymouth has Family Fun: Wings and Wonderful Things, where you can make colourful bird puppets and masks inspired by the various exhibitions being hosted at the museum over the winter months.

There are loads of National Trust events taking place over the February half term, including at Buckland Abbey in Yelverton. Their children’s collage workshop, involves painting, drawing, mark making, cutting, ripping and glueing to make your own artwork inspired by the abbey’s grounds. The Fairytale Trail is another opportunity to get creative, running from 15th February through to the end of March.
