Those workshops include two FREE music sessions in the North Devon village of Alwington on Saturday 12 July.
Music from The Wild Shore - FREE workshops
Audience participation is key to any Burn the Curtain production and the music workshops are helping to create songs and music for The Wild Shore programme.
Both music workshops are led by North Devon musician Becki Driscoll, and take place in Alwington Village Hall, Fairy Cross, Bideford, EX39 5AW.
Even though the workshops are free, booking is essential as spaces are limited.

Songs & Rhythms from The Wild Shore - details
Songs from The Wild Shore happens on Saturday 12 July between 10am and 12.30pm
This creative workshop of music-making inspired by the sea encourages participants to compose original pieces that will become part of The Wild Shore live outdoor theatre show running in August.

This workshop is open to anyone with some musical experience - whether you play an instrument or sing. You don’t need to be a professional (although professionals are very much welcomed), just comfortable exploring and creating music with others.

A promenade theatre adventure by the sea…
In a quiet coastal village, little has changed for centuries. Life follows the rhythms of the sea. The villagers rely on the sea for their living, and pay little heed to what happens inland, or to the country's changing laws. After all, it is not just fish that come in from the sea…
Once a year, on this very night, bottles wash ashore carrying messages from those lost to the waves. Villagers and travellers gather to hear these voices from beyond the deep. But tonight, something is different. The newly formed Customs Posse is closing in, determined to capture the elusive leader of an infamous gang of smugglers.
Join Burn the Curtain for an evening of mystery, magic, and adventure. Meet shipwrecked sailors, fearless fisherwomen, shapeshifters and determined law enforcers for an unforgettable night of promenade theatre by the sea.
The show happens at Bucks Mills between August 19 and 25 is written by Bernardette Russell, an author & storyteller mixing kindness, folklore, history, science, magic, hope & wonder.
