The organisers of the Devon Tourism Awards have announced the finalists for this year’s event. Awards will be presented in Plymouth on 2nd February, culminating in nearly 4 months of judging and where those shortlisted will discover whether they have won Gold, Silver or Bronze. A further five awards will be announced on the night, as well as others receiving Commended status.

This year’s event marks the 13th Devon Tourism Awards, there are 25 categories featuring this year, including a Winner of Winners titles and an Outstanding Contribution to Tourism, which will remain a secret until the awards ceremony. Winners will then be fast-tracked into the South West Tourism Excellence Awards, which take place in March of this year. Awards organiser, Robin Barker from Services for Tourism, told reporters: “This year’s judging was extraordinarily tough and I offer heartfelt congratulations to all finalists as well as my condolences to those that didn’t make it in what has been a tough period for everyone.
