Congratulations to all the winners of the 2025 Food Drink Devon Awards! Devon’s vibrant food and drink scene has once again taken centre stage, and this year many of Visit Devon's own members scooped up awards, showcasing the very best of the county’s hospitality, from fine dining and hotel restaurants to cafés and family-run hotels.

Best Fine Dining Restaurant: Mill End Hotel
Mill End Hotel, one of our proud members, was named Best Fine Dining Restaurant. With two AA Rosettes, the restaurant delights guests with classically British menus crafted from locally sourced, seasonal ingredients. From indulgent afternoon teas to exquisite evening meals and a spectacular Sunday lunch, each dish is beautifully presented and full of flavour. Mill End’s dedication to quality and hospitality makes it a standout on Devon’s culinary map.

Best Hotel Restaurant: Two Bridges Hotel, Dartmoor
For the second year running, Two Bridges Hotel, another Visit Devon member, has been crowned Best Hotel Restaurant. Nestled on the banks of the West Dart River, this riverside venue offers lunch, dinner, morning coffee, and the famous Devon Cream Tea, all set against the stunning Dartmoor landscape. Its continued recognition reflects a commitment to exceptional service and unforgettable dining experiences.

Café of the Year: Alder Vineyard
Alder Vineyard, also proudly part of the Visit Devon community, won Café of the Year. This modern, welcoming café invites guests to enjoy breakfast, coffee, or long lunches with open sandwiches on homemade sourdough and sharing platters piled with local cheese and charcuterie. Paired with breathtaking vineyard views, it’s a perfect spot to linger and savour Devon’s local produce.

People’s Choice Hospitality Award: The Cottage Hotel, Hope Cove
For the very first time, the People’s Choice Hospitality Award let the public decide, and The Cottage Hotel in Hope Cove, another Visit Devon member, took home the inaugural award. This family-run hotel is beloved for its quirky charm, friendly service, and honest, hearty food – a venue that perfectly embodies Devon hospitality and has clearly captured the hearts of locals and visitors alike.

Gold and Silver Award Winners
It wasn’t just these headline awards that shone for our members – many more Visit Devon members were recognised across the Gold and Silver categories, reflecting the depth and diversity of excellence in the county.

Gold Awards were presented to Cofton Holidays, Gidleigh Park, Ilsington Country House Hotel & Spa, and The Kitchen at The Donkey Sanctuary, all Visit Devon members making waves in their sectors.

Silver Award went to The Arundell Hotel, celebrating its excellence in food, service, and hospitality.
