Christmas festivities take over at Woodlands Family Theme Park

Things are getting festive at Woodlands Family Theme Park with Winter Fun set to take over from November 4^th through to the new year!

• Winter Fun 2023/24. Theme Park open weekends from November 4^th – March 17^th. All indoor rides and attractions open, some outdoor rides closed.
• Christmas Grotto & Park Visits. Open on select days from 25^th November – 23^rd December.
• Magical Christmas Nights. Open evenings from 5^th – 21^st December.

Having spent the past year building presents, sorting letters, and eating candy canes, the Woodland's festive elves are finally opening their Christmas Grotto to the public on November 25^th 2023! Guests can immerse themselves in the magic of Christmas with 10 themed rooms to explore; get your ticket stamped and ride through the North Pole by train before arriving at Santa Cabin. Get ready to receive a present from the big jolly man himself! Finish your tour with reindeer food making in the gift shop where personalised souvenirs are available to buy, allowing the family memories to be cherished forever! This immersive sensory experience is perfect for families with young believers who want to meet Santa before Christmas day!

Christmas Grotto tickets also include a warm festive drink for adults and a sweet treat for children. With daytime grotto & park entry, guests can spend the day exploring the theme parks winter rides and attractions along with their visit to meet Santa.

Christmas Grotto & Park Visits start on November 25^th 2023, running every weekend up until the 17th December 2023, then daily from the 18th to the 23rd December. Tickets must be prebooked for this event.

For families in search of the perfect evening grotto experience, the Magical Christmas Nights event offers a dazzling light trail and all the fun of the grotto, without the main theme park rides and attractions. Walk through magnificent light trails and pose for a photo in Santa’s sleigh, before posting your letter in Santa’s big red post box. You’ll need to warm up before you enter the North Pole so why not pick up a delicious festive themed hot chocolate in Ray’s Diner, serving food and drinks every Magical Christmas Night.

The Christmas Nights event was so popular last year, there are 6 evenings to choose from this year! Running exclusively on the 5th, 7th, 12th, 14th, 19th & 21st of December. 4:00pm – 8:00pm.

In addition to the Christmas Grotto, the general park will be open for Winter Fun every weekend and Devon school holiday between November 4^th 2023 to March 17^th 2024 with tickets available from £13.45 for adults and children over 92cms.

Christmas fever will extend well beyond the grotto with lights and decorations going up around the park! You’re sure to get in the Christmas mood, even if you’re just visiting the theme park for a day! Don’t let bad weather dampen the mood with Devon’s biggest soft play area waiting to be explored. Take on drop slides, ball pools, climbing tubes and nets! There are indoor and outdoor rides running no matter the weather, making Woodlands the perfect destination for fun this winter.
