Celebrate your upcoming nuptials in Devon

If you’re the adventurous type, leave unmarried life with a bang with one of these adventure activity centres.

For a chance to truly leave the world behind for a few days, head to Roadford Lake. Their adventurous stag and hen activity days give you the chance to take on the ultimate adventure, with everything from archery, raft building, paddleboarding or even taking on the high ropes course – there is something for everyone! Not only that, but you can even stay onsite! Why not combine your stag or hen with a stay in one of their luxury bell tents to really round of the experience? The team at Roadford Lake can even put together a tailored package for you, so you know everyone in the group will be catered for.

For a choice of adventure and slightly more leisurely activities, take a look at what the Mole Resort have to offer. As well as offering luxury accommodation, the Mole Resort also host activity days, with an array of indoor and outdoor experiences, including archery, axe throwing, bushcrafting or a round of golf. That’s not all, you can create something to truly remember your stag or hen in the Pottery Painting Studio!

Elsewhere in North Devon, there is Keypitts Offroad Adventures. Located near Ilfracombe, Keypitts offer a range of fun adventures, including land rover experiences, quad biking, axe throwing and more!

Skern Lodge is another option in this part of Devon. They also offer bespoke packages, so everyone can try their hand at something that suits them. Or how about booking an experience with  Tamar Trails in Tavistock? Here you’ll find several activities available for those who love being outside and taking on a challenge, including those offered by Canoe Tamar and Tree Surfers.

Like the idea of axe throwing? Head to Exeter and spend some time with the Celtic Tossers – where you’ll enjoy a premium experience every time! With sessions lasting an hour, you can easily fit this in with a host of other activities during your hen or stag experience.

If you fancy something a little more low key, there are plenty of options for you too. How about heading to China Blue in Totnes and creating memories together at the Colour Me Happy Pottery and Paint Centre. China Blue is also dog friendly, so your furry friends can join you on your stag or hen too! It’s an ideal way to catch up with friends and family before embarking on your next life milestone.

Alternatively, you can hire a boat and spend a few hours sailing along the Grand Western Canal in Tiverton. It’s a wonderful, gentle way to enjoy each other’s company while also taking in the views.
