Dittisham Hideaway is celebrating their new Shepherd Huts being available for booking for the summer months – a welcome addition to their collection of unique and luxurious self catering holiday accommodation.

Located just ten minutes from Dartmouth and just outside the village of Dittisham, one of the most picturesque areas of south Devon, Dittisham Hideaway is the perfect spot for a rural getaway without being too far away from the action of South Devon. Situated within a private wooded valley, Dittisham Hideaway, offers a charming place to stay in comfort and luxury – and not a hotel in sight!

With quality furnishings and luxury touches, at Dittisham Hideaway you can experience the level of comfort you would expect from a top-quality hotel but with the excitement and unique experience of staying in a shepherd hut, airstream or treehouse. Over the last few months, the team at Dittisham Hideaway have been preparing their five new shepherd huts, which have all been hand crafted to a high specification by local artists, who take great pride in their craft and have been built to perfection. Each of the huts have their own private terraces, outdoor wood fired spa baths and are fully equipped for your holiday, there is even a dining table, chairs and a fire pit, so you can have the flexibility of being self-catering with the luxury of a high ranking hotel stay. Not only that, but if you like, you don’t even have to leave the huts, just spend your days lounging in the comfortable king sized bed!

As well as the shepherd huts, Dittisham Hideaway is also home to four stunning treehouses, perfect for a family holiday, all of which have their own private furnished deck and wood-fired hot tub. They’re equipped with everything you could need for a self-catering holiday with a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms with power showers, WiFi, stove and under floor heating. There is also a luxuriously restored 1956 American Airstream – ideal for anyone wanting an accommodation option as interesting and fun as they are. Perfect for two, the furnishings are delightfully retro but with all the mod cons. All the accommodation is dog friendly, except for one of the treehouses and guests can be sure of a luxury welcome hamper on arrival to help you settle in.

Bookings are now open for the new shepherd huts, treehouses and the 1956 American Airstream for 2022 and into 2023.
