Traine Farm is a retired farm with lots of space and four holiday cottages, two of which are disability friendly. Rede Cottage sleeps two and has level access, as well as doorways that are wheelchair friendly and a wet room with non-slip tiles, ideal for a romantic break away, while Clowberry Cottage sleeps six – perfect for a holiday with the whole family. Clowberry Cottage also features the wider doors, and a wet room, as well as a ramp into the property, non-slip floors, handrails and a double room on the ground floor. Both cottages have parking directly outside and are dog friendly – so even your assistant dog can have a bit of a break!

The farm is family owned and run, with the proprietors always on hand to help should you need any advice for things to do during your stay. For those that want to spend their time relaxing and not doing much at all, there is plenty of space for enjoying the warm weather outside and a selection of chickens and ducks and two alpacas to entertain you! If you want to travel a little further afield, there is the National Park and the city of Plymouth plus a host of beautiful beaches. Several of the nearby beaches have accessible facilities, including Bigbury-on-Sea, famous for the historic sea tractors and the view across the Burgh Island, which has disabled access to the beach and beach wheelchairs available to hire. Bovisand, another local beach has accessible toilets and Wembury Beach features tarmacked paths suitable for wheelchairs, pushchairs and other mobility aids – it’s ideal for taking in those spectacular coastal views.
