Our commitment to your safety during the Covid 19 Pandemic. We fully understand that we now live in a different world, and our customers will want to know that we are doing everything we can to ensure the safety and hygiene of our cottages. We have always considered cleanliness to be the most important part of our success.
We understand that everyone also has their own subjective opinion about the virus. But we have to take the risk very seriously. Because even the slightest relaxation of our protocols on your part or on our part could lead to the closure of our business, the cancellation of holidays for our future customers and of course, our health. This is a scenario that we will do everything we can to avoid. As a result, we have changed many of our daily practices and services to minimize the risk of contracting and spreading the coronavirus. All of these rules will be constantly revised and subject to change, in accordance with government advice and “best practices”. These protocols are in place to protect you and us and other guests. We thank you for understanding and your cooperation.
For a charming self-catering cottage stay along the beautiful east Devon coast, take a look at the Coach House, one of five luxury cottages set in its own private complex in Sidmouth.
The Littlecourt offers self-catering accommodation all year around and features a number of holiday cottages which form part of a historic regency style house built in the 1700s for the Duke and Duchess of St Albans. The Coach House Cottage is a two bedroom cottage converted from the original site’s coach house. This delightful cottage features central heating and has a comfortable lounge space on the ground floor with French doors that lead out to its own private deck and outside entertainment area, perfect for those of you who like to dine alfresco or spend time sunning yourself in Sidmouth’s mild weather.
Like all the cottages located at Littlecourt, the Coach House has a wide range of features, perfect for a family or friendship group looking for a stay in this stunning part of Devon, including parking for one car. There are two bedrooms on the first floor with a large shared shower room. The main bedroom is a large, sunny space with two single beds which can be linked to form a 6 ft Super King sized bed, while the second bedroom has a 4 ft double bed and cots can be supplied if need be. All the duvets, bed linen and towels are supplied and guests are welcome to use the fully equipped laundry room.
The Coach House is a spacious cottage furnished and decorated to a high standard with a comfortable living and dining area as well as a fully fitted kitchen equipped with fridge/freezer, oven, hob and microwave. While Sidmouth is known for its mild weather and sunshine, sometimes you want nothing more than to spread out on a comfy sofa and binge your favourite shows and movies. The Coach House allows you to do just that, as the living room comes complete with a 52 inch Smart TV and with the free WiFi which is available throughout the property, you can stream all your favourites at your leisure.
For those of you who like a sense of adventure, Sidmouth is the ideal base and as the Coach House is only 600 meters from both the town centre and the sea front with its many walking trails, including the South West Coast Path and the multitude of attractions that can be found in the town, the cottages at Littlecourt are ideally located. Sidmouth is one of the loveliest places in the south west and it is not hard to see why when you take in the glorious Jurassic Coastline, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the award winning gardens and the surrounding countryside. The cottage’s proximity makes them the best place to stay if you want to explore this dramatic and fascinating part of Devon.
While guests are welcome to cook for themselves and have plenty of room in the cottage for preparing and storing food, there are many excellent restaurants, tea rooms and pubs within walking distance, many of which are passionate about their menus and features fresh, locally sourced dishes, including freshly caught fish from the Jurassic Coast. Guests are also welcome to indulge in a little pampering at the onsite hair salon and with the hosts living within the complex, you have ready made guides to help you plan the perfect stay, whatever the season.
