WE LOVE BEING GREEN

We take great pride in being as green as we can. We have reduced our carbon footprint by over 80% since 2006. We produce our heat and power from renewable sources and use water from the river for our hydro-electric turbine to generate power. Our Biomass Boiler and District Heating Scheme replaced oil/LPG boilers. We supply amenity blocks with green electricity and we recycle cardboard, plastic and glass as well as composting food waste. Our Nature Quest gives kids a chance to learn about being environmentally friendly too. Explore the Park and learn about the importance of being green!

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN YOUR PITCH PRICE?
• Use of Adventure Playgrounds
• Sizable pitches
• Dedicated Campsite Wardens
• Modern and well-equipped amenity blocks
• Free water and hot showers
• Family Bathrooms
• Use of freezers for ice storage
• Facilities for less able and young families
• Undercover washing up areas

Road Directions

Within the Dartmoor National Park, yet only one mile from the A38 between Exeter and Plymouth near Ashburton, we are easy to find and conveniently located. Follow the brown tourist signs to the River Dart Country Park from the Peartree Junction on the A38 by Ashburton. Peartree junction is the second Ashburton junction when travelling from Exeter direction. Do not come off at the Linhay junction which takes you through the narrow streets of Ashburton - not ideal when towing a caravan!
