Langstone Cliff Hotel

About

The Langstone Cliff Hotel has been owned and run by the Rogers family since it was originally purchased as a 12-bedroom house in 1946 by Stanley and Marjorie Rogers. The Hotel has been regularly expanded, refurbished and updated in the intervening 70+ years and now has 64 en-suite bedrooms and a host of facilities Stanley and Marjorie would not have dreamt of. The Hotel is situated in 19 acres of Devon woodland overlooking the sea and Exe Estuary with ample free parking for over 200 cars and or coaches. Plentiful open-air seating and sun loungers are provided on the acres of lawns and also the Victorian Verandah which enjoys spectacular views of the sea and Exe estuary. All public areas can be accessed on the level and there is a lift and four staircases available to the first-floor bedrooms. There is a fully accessible toilet available in the foyer of the Washington suite. There is good access to public transport with a scheduled bus stop opposite the hotel entrance and a main line railway station at Dawlish Warren a few hundred metres away, Dawlish Station which is approximately 1.5 miles from the hotel has a more regular service. The Hotel offers a wealth of facilities for receptions and events with rooms available to accommodate up to 400 guests in air-conditioned comfort and smaller rooms for parties as small as half a dozen. Many of the rooms have spectacular sea views. The Langstone Cliff Hotel offers a wide selection of catering from afternoon teas, through light buffets, to formal sit-down meals. The Lincoln Restaurant is open every day for Breakfast from 7.30am till 10.00am and Dinner from 6.30pm – 8.30pm and also on Sundays for our popular carvery Sunday Lunch. The Lincoln restaurant offers a new menu every day which is predominantly English in style but with a smattering of continental dishes added. We offer a choice of 4 Starters, 4 main courses plus vegetarian and cold buffet options with a selection of seasonal items, 4 sweets plus Ice creams followed by cheese and coffee or tea if you prefer. There are two bars in the hotel offering a wide range of draught beers, lagers, and ciders, a selection of wine and a wide range of spirits, the bars can also offer a comprehensive snack and light lunch menu from 11.30am - 8.30pm each day. The Hotel is open all year round and offers a wide variety of entertainment with children's entertainers most evenings during the summer holidays. Several themed weekends for Valentines, Easter and our excellent Langstone Specials and Loyalty weekends with cabaret evenings. The Langstone Cliff Hotel is also well known for its variety of Dance holidays utilising the magnificent Washington Ballroom.
