Celebrating over 75 years of family holidays, Ladram Bay offers the perfect combination for a family seaside holiday - first class entertainment and superb facilities on your doorstep.
There are a whole host of fun facilities onsite to keep the family entertained during your stay. The sensational Swimming Pool Complex includes a large pool, plus interactive splash zone with fountains and slides. The addition of the multi-activity outdoor Splash Zone has proved to be very popular and is ideal for non-swimmers too. Challenge your siblings with the Jurassic-themed Adventure Golf course or the exhilarating Climbing Wall. You’ll find the Climbing wall in the Three Rocks Complex which was specifically designed for the park and with fourteen different climbing routes, it’s impossible to get bored! If you need some additional instruction before taking part in an activity, you’ll find a whole host of instructor-led activities, such as Aqua Gliders and Hover Archery, giving you the confidence to learn new skills and take on new challenges in a safe and fun way.
Ladram Bay is nestled on the Jurassic Coast between Sidmouth and Budleigh Salterton, within easy reach of a number of Devon’s attractions and walking routes in East Devon. There are a number of regular events taking place in the nearby towns, including literature festivals and markets which are always popular. A number of Devon’s top family attractions are also in the vicinity, including World of Country Life, Pecorama and Bicton Gardens. For those that want to take in the views from the water, Stuart Line Cruises are based in Exmouth and have a variety of tours that take place throughout the year.
If you want to stay a little closer to the park, Ladram Bay has its own private beach area. The often clear waters are great for swimming and as the tide changes, kids will love exploring the rockpools. If you want to spend some time getting to know the wider area, the Jurassic Coastal path goes right through the site too.
The Three Rocks Inn is your local, where you can enjoy delicious locally sourced specials on the balcony of ‘Pebbles Restaurant’ and take in the spectacular panoramic views across the bay. The menus are stunning with much of the seafood options caught in the bay. There is also the recently refurbished Coast Takeaway where you can opt for a traditional seaside favourite of our award winning 'Fish & Chips', pizza and other takeaway treats. For lighter refreshments, take a look at the Beach Shack which is perfect for quick snacks during the warmer weather. All the eateries at Ladram Bay proudly cater for all types of dietary requirements and have a great offering of local produce and affordable meal options, alternatively check out the on-site supermarket should you want to create a family meal of your own.
You won’t want to miss the park’s Entertainment programme which is run daily and includes both top visiting acts such as bands, magicians, comedians and tribute acts in addition to the 5 star in-house production shows. The live all singing, all dancing team shows are created each season and feature full choreography and harmonies. Kids & adults alike are well catered for with a host of gameshows, karaoke, family talent competitions, mascot shows, discos, kid’s time & bingo. While the surrounding area is full of great attractions, there is plenty to do onsite for those that want to stay put and relax.
With accommodation ranging from Tents & Touring pitches through to Luxury Lodges with hot tubs & decking, there is plenty of choice to cater for all tastes and budgets. Guests can choose from traditional camping and motorhome pitches, to apartments, Holiday Homes and luxury lodges with stunning views of the bay. Ladram Bay also offers a range of glamping opportunities, glamourous camping (or glamping) is rising in popularity due to the combination of a traditional camping holiday without sacrificing home comforts. At Ladram Bay, there are a selection of glamping pods, Bell Tent Glamping and brand new for 2021, Otterpods which provide the perfect base for your family holiday - a cosy, comfortable & convenient stay at all times of the season.
Due to steep gradients, and steps in certain areas, Ladram Bay may not be suitable for wheelchair users or persons with severe mobility difficulties.
