Glas-Denbury Music & Arts Festival
Awarded a GOLD for Festival of the year 2018 in the Devon Tourism Excellence Awards and a BRONZE for Festival of the Year 2018/9 in the South West Tourism Excellence Awards, Glas-Denbury is authentic, friendly, safe, accessible and sustainable, with a nod to the festivals of yesteryear. With a line-up of music from all genres, magical entertainment and workshops to learn and create in, whether you’re an annual festival goer, family with children, live-music-lover, or merely just dipping your toes in the festival scene, Glas-Denbury is the perfect place for you with something for everyone.
Championing the South West, using 100% SW suppliers, food and drink and providing a platform for SW music, arts and entertainment it is located on a beautiful site, in the rolling Devon hills; a collaboration of likeminded people and organisations who come together to create a colourful, happy event suitable for all ages.

Jurassic 5's Soup presenting the Fullee Love Collective, Mr B The Gentleman Rhymer, Riviera Dogs, The Communicators, Pattern Pusher, Rambunctious Social Club, Aldo Vanucci, Lonely Eddie, The Scribes, Dakar Audio Club, Haunt The Woods, Samantics with special guests and much more.
The legend that is Basil Brush will be on site on the Saturday for shows and selfies galore with everyone, as well as this year’s Britain’s Got Talent ventriloquist Jimmy Tamley, who will be bringing his infamous masks to find a willing volunteer! Other Entertainment includes Gecko and Mole’s interactive rap musical with live songs, the Ceroc dance team teaching you some fierce dance moves and Isabella Storyteller’s magical tales. The Imaginarium invites you into a world of magic and mystery, Lavrak will enthral when the sun goes down with fire and poi shows and the free workshops on site include circus skills, woodcraft, crafts, knitting, acro yoga as well as archery, inflatables and other activities to take part in.
The Silent Disco has a line up of DJs to battle to win your channel on the headphones! Friday features DJ producer Aldo Vanucci accompanied by Bristol based Rocka Lula, DJ Getbacktothebeat and more. Saturday features Matt Vinyl, Rocka Lula, Ska au go go Boss DJ, Calamity and more.
The Speakers stage shares some of Devon and Cornwall’s favourite poet’s, spoken word artists and speakers including Edinburgh Fringe poet Robert Garnham and Oogle Buffleflum with The Brain that wouldn’t Die.
Glas-Denbury is already one of the most accessible festivals in the South West, with a dedicated accessibility team, accessible camping, accessible bar, plenty of toilets and the Mobiloo on site with toilet, hoist and changing bed. Personal assistance tickets are available on application. For families with babies and young children, the Baby Bloom Cocoon area offers parents a place to meet, chill, feed and learn.
Glas-Denbury leads the way with sustainability; free shuttle buses run from Newton Abbot station to the festival site, reuseable cups are used across the site, all single use plastics banned including the sale of plastic water bottles, use of plastic straws, cutlery and plates and recycling takes place. All festival goers must bring along refillable water bottles and are encouraged to take part in litter picking throughout the event. Recycling, reducing waste and ensuring a minimal footprint is left on the land is paramount to the festival.
