Edge of the Teign Open Studio
The Edge of the Teign artist group will be welcoming visitors to their venue for this year’s Devon Open Studios event with every effort made to put ‘Safety First’. As well as wearing visors, creating a one-way system and providing hand sanitiser the Edge of the Teign artists will do all they can to arrange a pre-bookable appointment for visitors who are shielding or need additional support, to come and view their diverse range of work separately from the general public.
Opening the doors of the Pavilion each Wednesday to Sunday from 10am to 5pm, Angela Bennet- Ceramicist, Charlotte Bouchard- Jeweller, James Deane- Blacksmith, Annie Drew- Wildlife Artist, Niamh Geraghty-Morris- Printmaker and Susan Hill- Mixed Media Artist will be available to talk about their work, share ideas and techniques and can be watched working on their latest pieces. The event also provides a perfect opportunity to purchase original works of art and unique craft direct from the makers; supporting individual and local businesses.
Whether you are an artist looking for inspiration, a local looking for a unique gift or a holidaymaker looking for something to take home to remind you of your break in Devon come and have a chat and browse - everyone welcome.
When visiting the artists at Hearn Field, visitors will also discover stunning views of the River Teign, a dog friendly field for any canine company, free parking and the perfect spot for a picnic. So why not pack up your flask and picnic rug and pay The Edge of the Teign a visit!
