Christmas (Light Up Late Nights) in Princesshay

About

Come and experience all that Princesshay has to offer with late night shopping and entertainment for the whole family this Christmas and New Year.  You will be assured of a great welcome and be amazed by great street entertainment for all the family where sparks will certainly fly!

From Saturday 16 November be transported to a twinkly paradise when we unveil our brand-new Christmas lights installation. It’s bigger and brighter than ever! Plus, what’s Christmas without a tree? Princesshay’s giant tree is back and this year is decorated with more than 340 individual decorations.

And back by popular demand is the annual Charity Christmas Tree Festival where Roman Walk becomes home to 35 Christmas trees, each decorated by a local charity.

Oh, and we promised the man in red didn’t we! Father Christmas will be cycling (yes cycling) around Princesshay on the 8th, 9th, 15th, 16th, 22nd December handing out festive bells as he goes along.

Princesshay has also revealed a series of late-night shopping experiences and festive guests over the magical period for the whole family.

Each late-night Thursday, Princesshay has fabulous, free family entertainment lined up:

Thursday 21st November – Diamond performances in Princesshay Square at 5pm, 6pm & 7pm

Thursday 28th November – Winter Statues performances in Princesshay Square at 5pm, 6pm & 7pm, Snow Globe Walk around

Thursday 5th December – Spark! (back for 3rd year) performances throughout the centre at 5pm, 6pm & 7pm

Thursday 12th December – Oyster Opera Snow Queen and King performing 15 minute sets at 5pm, 6pm & 7pm followed by 15 minutes interaction

Thursday 19th December Calvos Lux and Glitterbelles throughout the centre at 5pm, 6pm & 7pm
