Budleigh Salterton Literary Festival features inspiring talks, readings and conversations with talented authors, scientists, playwrights, historians, broadcasters, economists, comedians and rising literary stars.
Taking place in September, the festival will host a diverse selection of critically acclaimed, award-winning authors who are set to descend on the East Devon seaside town for the festival’s tenth consecutive year.

Approach Budleigh Salterton from the M5, Exeter, the A30 (A303) Three ways to arrive:From the A303 the dual carriegway Honiton bypass has a signpost about 4 miles after passing Honiton. Follow the signs over Woodbury Common and down into the town. The more scenic route through Honiton and Sidbury, Sidmouth (outskirts), Newton Poppleford and East Budleigh enters the town from the opposite side. From the M5 take the first Exeter turn where the services are marked on your map. Leave the motorway roundabout in the Sidmouth direction and at the next roundabout turn right for Exmouth. At the next roundabout turn left and follow the signs to the town. You will arrive at the same traffic lights mentioned above.
