As we reach the second stage of lockdown restrictions being lifted, many more Devon businesses have opened their doors. Here are various attractions and eateries that are open from the 12th April.
Shopping
Affinity Devon, Bideford
One way system remains in place, as does social distancing and needing to wear masks. Individual shops will have their own regulations in place.
Fleetwalk Shopping Centre, Torquay
Individual shops will have their own regulations in place.
Dartington Estate, Dartington
Shops and walking trails are open, with the gardens opening from 17th April. Some eateries will be open for takeaway and outside dining from 14th April.
House of Marbles, Bovey Tracy
Everything will be open except the outdoor dining, however there are covered and heated outdoor areas for eating. Please book tables in advance.
Quince Honey Farm, South Molton
Shop open rest of the site to follow in May.
Dining
Bistrot Pierre, Torquay
Open for outdoor dining only, please book tables in advance, or the Bistrot at Home service is still available.
Attractions
North Devon Wake Park, Bideford
Café, Bar, Aquapark, Wakeboarding, Changing rooms and showers are all open with restrictions, masks must be worn in indoor spaces.
Combe Martin Animal and Wildlife Park, Combe Martin
All guests must book in advance.
Exmoor Zoo, Exmoor
Visits must be booked in advance, you must wear a face mask during your visit.
Paignton Zoo, Paignton
The first two days of opening for annual pass holders only, general admission from 14th April. All outdoor exhibits open, but indoor spaces and animal houses remain closed for the moment. Advanced booking only.
Dartmoor Zoo, Dartmoor
Tickets must be booked in advance, a number of covid measures remain in place.
Miniature Pony Centre, Newton Abbot
All visitors must prebook in advance, there are no pony rides taking place at the moment and some areas of the centre will remain closed.
Pennywell Farm, Totnes
Tickets must be booked in advance.
Wildwood Escot, Ottery st Mary
Prebook visits only, covid secure measure remain in place.
Seaton Tramway, Seaton
Trams are operating every day from 10am-5pm, please book your visit in advance.
Haldon Forest Park, Exeter
The majority of the site is open
Skern Lodge, Bideford
Outdoor areas open
The Bear Trail, Collumpton
Sessions must be booked in advance, café serving takeaway food and drink only.
Crag 2 Mountain, Dartmoor
Sessions available for families or support groups.
Becky Falls, Newton Abbot
Reopening on 17th April, visitors must book in advance.
Clovelly Village, Clovelly
Advanced booking only, accommodation and eateries will be different, please check website.
Watermouth Castle, Ilfracombe
The gardens and some of the attractions will be available for guests staying in the onsite apartments. The rest of the park will be opening on 17th May.
Babbacombe Cliff Railway, Babbacombe
Open now, advanced bookings only
Babbacombe Model Village, Babbacombe
Prebook in advance, face masks must be worn, coffee shop serving as takeaway
Canonteign Falls, Exeter
Open to all visitors, tickets must be booked in advanced.
Crealy Theme Park, Exeter
