From 26th April to 2nd May, you can celebrate the beauty of spring in East Devon with Bluebell Week, a new event launched by Wild East Devon.
The event will include exciting online content, a photo competition and a number of bookable events coming in late April and May, once restrictions have started lifting. From wildflower video guides, foraging walks and family activity days, there is something for everyone to help celebrate and connect with nature this Spring!
This is just one of many outdoor events planned by Wild East Devon this spring as more and more attractions can begin to open. Plans include a new walking campaign #walkwildeastdevon, with over 20 videos already available to help show off some of the very best walking routes in and around Sidmouth and East Devon.
Local nature reserves will begin to reopen once it is safe to do so, including the bird hides at Seaton Wetlands, which are planning to be operational after Easter. A number of the region’s reserves have had work completed during the shut down, including Knapp Copse, Holyford Woods, White Cross, Hillcrest Gardens, Delderfield, The Maer, Trinity Hill and Honiton Bottom.
You can find out more on the Wild East Devon website.
