Visitors to The Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth will soon be able to enjoy the perfect start to their Sunday when they discover the new Brunch menu at the sanctuary’s award winning restaurant The Kitchen.
This weekend treat, best served with friends and family features a whole host of mouth-watering delights to enjoy, accompanied by great sea views, rolling green hills, and happily grazing donkeys.
The Kitchen’s chefs pride themselves on sourcing the freshest seasonal local ingredients. All dishes are hand-prepared and include a great range of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free choices.
From Mexican beans, layered over toasted sourdough and smashed avocado to American-style pancakes, topped with roasted figs, toasted walnuts and drizzled with honey, there is something to tempt every food lover and see your Sunday get off to a great start.
When suitably refuelled, visitors will be ready to meet some of resident donkeys cared for by the charity and explore the delightful countryside surrounding the Sidmouth sanctuary. The maze offers children (and adults) the chance to lose themselves for a while and the more adventurous may head off to join the South West Coastal Path.
Good food goes down all the better knowing its doing good for donkeys too, and all profits go to support the work of The Donkey Sanctuary, here in the UK and across the world.
The Sunday Brunch menu is available every Sunday from 6 October, served from 9am until 3pm.
