With National Selfie Day taking place in June, we thought we’d put together a list of great selfie spots right here in Devon so you can really make your followers jealous.
In the Exmoor National Park, you’ll find the Valley of the Rocks, it looks a bit like that scene in the Lion King when Simba is in the ravine after the stampede, but before the sad bit. You’ll find it outside Lynton and Lynmouth and its home to loads of goats, so you never know, you might manage to get a goat selfie too, but it’s a great spot to show off how beautiful and diverse this region is.
Either position yourself on the beach with those gorgeous cliffs behind you or do a spot of climbing and stand with the sea and horizon visible in your picture. On a summer’s day, you might even be able to convince your followers you’re in the Med!
Clovelly is a pretty beautiful location anyway, so make sure to take a few shots of the actual village too, but immerse yourself in this traditional village by taking a few selfies in the narrow streets or against some of the older buildings.
Who doesn’t want to re-enact that leaning tower of Pizza meme but with the lighthouse at Plymouth Hoe?
Beautiful beach, selfie face on, what more are you waiting for? Head down there early in the morning or in early evening to get the best natural filter of all time.
