Follow the Polar Bear Explorer Trail around Plymouth to find George, the polar bear cub and his friends and be in with a chance to win some great prizes!
The polar bear trail has twenty cubs for you to find hidden in a variety of shops, restaurants and other businesses around the city from Royal William Yard to Millbay, the Barbican to Sutton Harbour, Whimple Street to Bretonside and Mount Baton. Along the way you’ll learn about how climate change is affecting the environment and how you can help cubs like George.
Pick up a copy of the Polar Bear Brochure while in the city (or download a copy here) and head out into the city searching for bear cubs. Each cub has a number that matches a section of the comic strip in the brochure, when you find it, you’ll also find the missing words in the story. There are different prizes available to win depending on how many of the bears you find and when you’re done, post your completed trail form in the Arctic Post Boxes at the Tourist Information Centre, Bistrot Pierre or the National Marine Aquarium. Alternatively, submit them online here.
For chances to win an extra prize which includes a Polar Bear adoption pack, make sure to head onto social media and share you #GoldenPolarPledge. You can also upload your photos from the trail to your social profiles and tag #PolarBearExplorer to see how everyone else did!
