Devon has been receiving a lot of national attention in recent weeks, with a number of publications including the region in their reports.
The Telegraph has featured Devon in two articles, one on Britain’s best beach cafes and restaurants which name checked cafes and restaurants across the region from Topsham to Blackpool Sands to Salcombe and Exmouth!
Take a look at the full list and their recommendations here.
Their other feature is a little more controversial, pitting Devon against Cornwall in a battle of the beaches and naming Saunton Sands as Britain’s greatest beach. The article raves about the beach at Saunton, how picturesque it is and how perfect it is for water sports. They also recommend Saunton Sands Hotel, but don’t take our word for it, read the whole article here.
It isn’t just the Telegraph that is raving about our great county, the Times has been too! They have named Ivybridge, in the Dartmoor national park as one of their great walks.
There are some beautiful views and the national park is a wonderful place to visit if you want to be at one with nature, see some of Devon’s heritage and meet the wild ponies that roam across the moor. Find out more about what the Times’ reporters thought of their time in Dartmoor by clicking here.
