May Half Term Holidays in Devon
If you’re heading to Devon for the half term holidays, there are a number of fun things you can do to keep the kids and adults entertained during your stay.
For instance, you could head to Crealy, not only can you experience all the fun of the adventure park, but for their Spring into Summer events over the weekends until 27th July, they will be opening more outdoor rides for you to enjoy!
If you fancy spending some time on the beach but are worried that the rest of the family will be bored and ruin your relaxing break, you can always head to Branscombe Beach, near Seaton, where you can take part in Beach Fun Sundays, taking place every Sunday until 13th May, there are a range of activities from raft building to rock pooling to keep the kids entertained.
On the 19th May, you can head to Pippa Pig’s Big Birthday Bash at Pennywell Farm. Pippa, Pennywell’s mascot is celebrating her second birthday and so there will be bouncy castles, games and sing alongs galore! If your children are into animals, but are going to miss Pippa’s birthday, you can also head to Pennywell’s Unicorn Week or make sure to head to the Donkey Sanctuary for the Donkey Sanctuary World Cup!
The Milky Way is a great place to visit during half term, you can take part in the Time Travellers event, which is educational and fun! And once you’ve finished spending time with Professor Chronological, you can enjoy the rest of the adventure park!
The National Marine Aquarium are celebrating their 20th Birthday and have got loads of incredible events happening over half term, including a Birthday Family Night, welcoming families to enjoy face painting, party games, and a big NMA cake! Best of all, it’s totally free! The party starts at 6pm.
