Sunwest Beer & Music Festival, Ilfracombe
28th – 31st August
There is something for everyone to enjoy over the August Bank Holiday weekend at our annual Sunwest beer and music festival.
Why not come along, sip on a pint of one of the many types of real ale on offer, soak the ales up with some delicious food and relax as the children join in the family fun on offer outside; or just come along and enjoy free admission to see live performances from some of the regions best bands.
Let’s Rock Exeter
4th July
The ultimate 80’s festival. With a fabulous line-up of artists to bring you the very best of the 80’s. With an action packed day of general 80’s madness, there is plenty to do for everyone at this Family Friendly Festival! Children can enjoy the “Let’s Rock! Playpen”, which includes tons of free things to keep the little ones amused.
Dartmoor Folk Festival
7th – 9th August
The Dartmoor Folk Festival is a friendly traditional festival, with highlights including Ceilidh, song & music sessions, the Dartmoor stepdance and broomdance championships, Dartmoor fayre, craft displays, children’s events and much more…
The festival attracts some of the top national and local artists as guests, maintaining its reputation as a top event in the folk calendar.
The Jersey Boys come to Plymouth
18th August – 5th September
The Broadway and West End phenomenon ‘Jersey Boys’ is touring the UK and Ireland for the very first time! This smash hit musical has won 55 major awards worldwide, including the Olivier Award for Best New Musical.
Jersey Boys tells the true life story of four boys from the wrong side of the tracks who wrote their own songs, invented their own unique sound, and sold 175 million records worldwide.
Glas-Denbury, Newton Abbot
10th – 11th July
Glas-Denbury brings together families and people of all ages to appreciate the music, surroundings and a truly Devon festival feel. It’s a happy event, with friendly folk and a wonderful atmosphere.
A great platform for local artists and bands, theres also headliners from all over the country. This year includes Land of The Giants, The Simmertones, Showhawk Duo, Billy Bottle & The Multiple, Shoot the Moon, Moriaty, CoCo & The Butterfields, Matt Owens of Noah and the Whale and much more!
Agatha Christie Festival, Torquay
11th – 20th September
Torquay marks the 125th anniversary of Dame Agatha Christie’s birth in the town with a nine-day international festival celebrating the Queen of Crime’s life, literature and legacy and offering a choice of more than 100 attractions, including talks, tours, book launches, theatre, film, exhibitions, vintage entertainment, food, drink and family fun.
