The shops at the Cider Press centre are vibrant and eclectic, with a focus on arts and crafts, there’s a huge range of gifts to browse from – alongside a carefully curated selection of locally-sourced food and drink. Occupying a picturesque corner of the Dartington estate, this mini-village remains a much loved shopping destination after four decades of trading.
You will also find Bayard’s Kitchen they offer great food and drinks in an informal but contemporary environment with a focus on local produce. Open for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea and with a dedicated children’s area, Bayard’s Kitchen is a great place for all the family to enjoy.
While you’re here, why don’t you explore the rest of the Dartington Estate with its beautiful Grade II* listed gardens, footpaths through the Deer Park, or look out for kingfishers along the River Dart.
Nearest major road is A385. From Plymouth direction take the A385 exit on the A38 and from Exeter take the A384 from Buckfastleigh. It is located 2 miles from Totnes on A385.
Nearest station is Totnes station. Ask for directions to cycle path which comes direct to cider press.X80 to Plymouth88 to Newton Abbot165 from Totnes to Dartington.
