You are here > Things To Do > Devon Valley Holiday Village
Nestled on the banks of the River Teign just outside the picturesque village of Shaldon, Devon Valley Holiday Village welcomes non-residents to its facilities.*
Day Passes give you access to our heated indoor swimming pool and evening entertainment at Breakers Club. We also offer Dip and Dine options, so you can take a dip, grab a bite to eat, and then enjoy an evening of fabulous family entertainment.
Our heated indoor swimming pool is open daily from 9am to 1pm and 2pm to 6pm. The last entries for Day Passes are at 11:45am and 4:45pm, which ensures you can enjoy an hour of swimming, plus time to change.
On most weekends throughout the season, you can also join us for Inflatable Fun sessions in the swimming pool for an additional £1 per child. The sessions also run every day during the main summer school holidays. Places are limited and prioritised for our own guests. Please call ahead to check dates, times, and availability on 01626 872525.
After you’ve enjoyed your swim, why not head to our riverside Boathouse Restaurant & Pub, where you can enjoy a bite to eat and a refreshing drink whilst gazing over the River Teign. It is a truly spectacular location - nowhere comes close. With our Dip and Dine options, you can enjoy a meal of your choice from a selected menu. You can download a menu on our website.
After you’ve chilled out on our terrace as the sun sets on another fabulous day by the river, you can make your way to Breakers Club, our family entertainment venue. Grab a drink at the bar and settle in for an evening of fun.
There is a varied entertainment programme throughout the week, including a nightly Star Cabaret, either with our resident DV Team Starz or a visiting act. Children can also join in with party games and dances with our very own Superhero Captain DV or the cheeky Morris Minor!
If all the fun of the day’s activities has left you feeling peckish, you can also get a bite to eat at Breakers Club, which serves a range of tasty hot snacks that you can enjoy at your table or take away with you.
Day Passes are available to purchase from our Reception, which is open daily between 9am and 6pm. A Day Pass is always valid for one day (on the same day that you purchase it).

Arriving by car is easy, as we are located conveniently just 20 minutes from the end of the M5 and only 15 minutes from the A380 (via B3192).
If you are coming from North, Mid, or East Devon, or anywhere else east of Devon itself, you'll arrive at Devon Valley via Teignmouth. Simply head over the Shaldon Bridge and into the village. At the zebra crossing, bear sharply to the right to follow the main road round. Then, take the fork to the right (do not go up the hill). Follow along the lane for just under a mile. We're on your right hand side.
If you are coming from Plymouth or Cornwall, you'll likely arrive at Devon Valley via Newton Abbot. At the Penn Inn Roundabout, follow signs for Combeinteignhead. You'll go through the village of Netherton. Keep following signs for Shaldon - it's around 4 miles in total from Penn Inn to Devon Valley. We're on your left hand side.
Taxis are available from train stations - the journey from Teignmouth to Devon Valley takes about 10 minutes or about 15 minutes from Newton Abbot.
