J – Jacob’s Ladder
This is the name given to the Victorian style steps leading up from the beach

This nature reserve in Sidmouth offers great places to walk and cycle as well as somewhere to find local wildlife

L – Literary Festival
Held annually by local shopkeepers, the town’s literary festival is one of the biggest events on the calendar

M – Mutters Moor
A great place for local walks, you can find Mutters Moor just outside the town centre

N – Norman Lockyer Observatory
Both a historical monument and a working observatory, it is one of the places featured in the annual Science Festival
