GO WITH THE FLOW!
On our kayak tours you can expect to explore the stunning Exe Estuary, with its golden sands and beautiful sea close to our base in the town of Exmouth, East Devon.
Whichever of our trips or courses you choose, you’ll complete a picturesque journey, including whichever activities you would enjoy – whether that be wildlife watching, a bit of bushcraft or just relaxing on an otherwise inaccessible beach. If you are new to kayaking, then our team of experts will show you all you need to know, so whether you’re a novice, an occasional kayaker or someone with reams of experience, sign up today, you can head out as a family, an individual or as part of a group.
With no previous experience required, these trips are ideal whatever your fitness and ability.
Our guided sea kayak tours take in the beautiful and tranquil East Devon coastline. There are various options from our base in the heart of Exmouth and our expert local guides and coaches can help you choose the best option, depending on the tide, weather conditions and what you want to experience.
A few of our trips include:
Exmouth to Topsham
Our Exe Estuary route goes from Exmouth to Topsham (or vice-versa, depending on the tides) – where you can see golden sands and myriad wildlife, including sandpipers, rare avocets and even grey seals! On this trip, the estuary changes dramatically with the tides and we just go with the flow!
The Jurassic Coast
Our Jurassic Coast route takes in the red Jurassic Sandstone to the East of Exmouth through to Budleigh Salterton. With sandy coves and sea stacks, a sea kayak is the best possible way to explore the incredible coastline which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
We personalise each trip for you; so you can really make it your own. Some of the options that we can include are kayak surfing, rock hopping, wildlife watching, marshmallow roasting, swimming in inaccessible coves, cooking mussels, making hot chocolate with a Kelly Kettle, mackerel fishing… The possibilities are endless! You can even pick between a half or full day trip or if you’re feeling really adventurous, our night camp trip where we stop for the night half way along the route where you can enjoy a BBQ or even cook fish you’ve caught yourself!
If you want to brush up on your skills before making a trip, we also offer a range of courses with our experienced team including introductory sessions to Sea Kayaking and courses for intermediate and advanced watersports enthusiasts.
So, if you’ve always fancied having an adventure on the waves, get in touch with us – we provide all the equipment you need for a fun and fabulous day on the water. Find out more about our courses and trips, as well as our safety policies and testimonials on our website. The team are always happy to talk to you about this wonderful sport and offer help and advice, whatever you have in mind.
