Willow Bridge B&B

About

Willow Bridge Bed & Breakfast offers you a friendly and personal home from home experience with excellent service where we are always on hand to help ensure you have a great holiday. The B&B occupies a central position in the delightful regency town of Sidmouth, overlooking the River Sid, beside the delightful Riverside Walk called ‘The Byes’and it is only a short walk to the beautiful sea front esplanade. It is a perfect base for walkers, holiday makers and everyone looking for a relaxing break in this charming seaside town.

We want you to enjoy your holiday in our quiet location and to relax in delightful surroundings and we think you will find our newly refurbished bedrooms fresh, charming and very restful. We have six rooms to choose from on two floors and they are all slightly different. We have two twin rooms; three double rooms and a superior double with king size bed. Five of the rooms have ensuite shower rooms and one its own separate private bathroom for exclusive use. Each room is unique, given the age of the original house, and are all fresh, bright and ‘pared back’ with white cotton bed linens and featuring decorative contemporary textiles in lamb’s wool by Anna-Lisa Smith.  In all the rooms you can enjoy free Wi-Fi, a smart TV and complimentary toiletries as well as our hospitality tray with tea, coffee, fair trade biscuits and also a small Nespresso machine for those who like a stronger shot of coffee!

No visit to a Bed and Breakfast would be complete without a delicious breakfast to set you up for the day. We pride ourselves on our freshly cooked breakfast and whether you prefer a light option of fresh fruit, cereal, toast and yoghurt or a full cooked breakfast in the morning, you will enjoy the locally sourced fresh produce we delight in serving for our guests. We can usually accommodate your specific dietary requirements if you let us know in advance of your stay.

We have a lovely cottage garden, we also have a bright, airy guest lounge and we think that either of these spots are a great place to plan your day or to relax when you return with a lovely pot of tea or coffee and, if we have been baking, we are always happy to provide a slice of delicious homemade cake! Guests often enjoy chatting and relaxing, perhaps getting to know other guests, in our sunny garden during the summer!

The beach, town centre and many amenities including cinema, the public gardens, restaurants, coffee shops, pubs and theatre are all within easy walking distance meaning that you can leave the car at the Willow Bridge and truly unwind. If you want to explore the local area we are an ideal base for the South West Coast Path, a gateway to the many attractions of the Jurassic Coast and East Devon as well as being a short drive or bus journey into Exeter or Lyme Regis.

We are able to welcome older children however we do not have any family rooms. In addition and for your comfort the Bed and Breakfast is smoke free and completely pet free. Unfortunately although we think dogs are great and we love our own cheeky cockapoo dearly even he is not allowed in the B&B!

We generally open from March through to October, depending on the weather and guest requests. We look forward to welcoming you to our Bed and Breakfast and we hope you enjoy you stay in Sidmouth whether you are a return visitor or someone enjoying the town and surrounding area for the first time.
