Festivals in Honiton
With its reputation for being a hub of culture and tradition, there are a host of interesting things to do and events to attend in Honiton. One of the most popular of Honiton’s events is Festival on the Hills, which takes place at Honiton Showground every year. It’s a family-friendly weekend camping music festival with DJ sets, live music and incredible food and drink vendors.

In the summer months, there are the annual Charter Day and Hot Pennies Day, both of which create a lively festive atmosphere across the town and are well worth a visit if you’re nearby in the summer months.

One of the region's largest events is the Honiton Show which takes place on the 1st week of August every year. It is one of the biggest agricultural shows and showcases the best of local farming, produce, crafts and rural skills.
More recently, residents and visitors have enjoyed Gate to Plate, a local food festival and every autumn, the town is graced with the annual carnival.

Nearby in Escot Park is the famous Beautiful Days Festival which takes place every August. With top live music, camping and entertainment, there is something for everyone here. Previous line ups have included Primal Scream, Suede and Johnny Marr.
