The name “Merry Harriers” derives from an Old Coaching Inn, once a thriving Inn where the hunt met on foot. This family run Garden Centre is a hive of activity with always something different happening, whether it is the potting up of plants, dividing perennials or just good old traditional hands on in the garden. We have an excellent selection of shrubs, trees, rose bushes, grasses, herbs, basket plants, containers and a wide selection of unusual pots and lots more.
Our shop is a treasure trove, and we pride ourselves on being that little bit different with gifts for all the family, jewellery, furniture, toys, chainsaws, mowers & paint there is something for everyone. Our Farm shop stocks wonderful local produce from local Eggs to Honey. On site there are several concessions such as Edinburgh Woolen Mill, a Hair Dresser and West Country Crafters. The Mad Hatters Restaurant is set in a tranquil location beside our lake, surrounded by well established gardens fed by a babbling brook. We are well known as one of the Best Sunday Carvery in the area. Be sure to book to avoid disappointment. Our facilities are all disable friendly and all undercover. Coach parties are more than welcome as long as we are given notice. We look forward to seeing you soon!
