Come Get Your Viking on at North Devon's only dedicated axe throwing and gaming venue, with multiple indoor axe lanes and outdoor targets.
INDOOR & OUTDOOR
Norse Hawk Axe throwing offers a unique leisure AXE-PERIENCE on their indoor and outdoor throwing ranges. You'll get a full safety brief, with instruction on how to throw an axe, where to stand and how to make them thunk into the target! Players learn with smaller throwing angel axes - perfect for children aged 9 years and up, and progress through a selection of axes to hatchets. You'll compete in scoring rounds and team games to see whose worthy of raiding with Ragnar.
Outside you can find larger log round targets to try their signature Norse Tomahawk axes, try throwing them one-handed or with two hands overhead to truly embrace your inner warrior. You can celebrate the winner with a Viking trophy, rune wheel or medallion, and enjoy a picnic in their picturesque Viking garden.
If you want to continue the celebrations, you can book the 6ft fireship "Loki's Hearth" and create your own Viking Afterparty in the Thor's Bar area with Nordic throwing games, music and marshmallows over the fire. Skol!
NEW FOR 2022
Vikings loved games, and Norse Hawk have created both traditional and modern gaming areas to reflect this. Enjoy Nordic Throwing games such as Kubb, Molkky, Stige and Ring Toss. Or step into their VR gaming area and create your own Virtual Reality adventure.
Axe Throwing can be paired with other games to create your own Viking Game day or an ultimate games evening.
Norse Hawk is perfect for families and groups, catering to birthdays, team-building, stag and hen groups, and private events. They run Halloween month and Christmas Parties - a bad-ass way to settle office rivalries! You can even bring your own target faces for a Break-up party!
As a family-run business, Norse Hawk pride themselves on creating a space to come together and create those much-needed shared experiences. Combining their passion for Vikings, axe-throwing and storytelling - they were inspired by Viking culture and their thirst for adventure, as a result Norse Hawk is about feeling part of a community as much as it is about being an attraction. The site also houses an exclusive gym space for members, with private personal training.

Norse Hawk host monthly throwing socials, fireside storytelling, and event days - as well as mobile axe throwing for festivals, parties and weddings. Check out the whats-on page on the website www.norsehawk.org/whats-on or join the mailing list for the full list of events.
