Step into nature in one of the numerous reserves and gardens in Torridge District. With Devon Wildlife Trust sites, National trust land, an RHS garden, and Stately Homes, there is plenty to indulge the largest of nature-lovers!
Torridge changes immensely through the seasons and each is as beautiful as the last. Spring paints the coast path in wildflowers and new life. Summer is a butterfly and dragon fly lover’s dream. Autumn turns the landscape golden brown and is a great time to spot charismatic species such as grey seal and tawny owls. Winter brings a choir of redwings and other bird looking for food.
Check out the seasonal Torridge pages to get inspired.
