As the only remaining UK glass factory, Dartington Crystal Torrington is the true home of British glass making. Visitors can watch skilled glass makers in action, creating beautiful things from molten crystal. Suitable for all ages, the self-guided factory tour lets you see every stage of the making process at both shop-floor level and from special overhead walkways. Our family- friendly Visitor Centre showcases the unique story of Dartington and its products through six decades -from 1967 to present day. There’s a lot to see and do for all ages, with live demonstrations and fascinating displays.
Enjoy a fantastic shopping experience too. We have unbeatable bargains on all Dartington first quality and slightly imperfect (seconds) products. There is no bigger or better selection of crystal and glass in the UK!. In our extensive factory shopping complex we also offer you a host of quality brands for fashion, homeware, accessories and gifts – and all at money saving prices.
Free parking and coaches welcome.
Free entry for children (under 16) and check our website visitor page for seasonal offers, entry costs and group discounts.
