Devon's lost world!
A visit to Combe Martin Wildlife & Dinosaur Park is a must! Nestling in the depths of a Valley is Devon's very own prehistoric park, home to an abundance of exotic and indigenous wildlife and the very latest in Dinosaur animatronics! Wandering through this stunning park you will be amazed to uncover natural cascading streams and waterfalls, as well as various strains of bamboo, tropical trees and plants. Lurking amongst the foliage are some of the latest in Dinosaur animatronics. Come face to face with ferocious Spinosaurus, a family of Triceratops, Stegosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Deinonychus, Triceratops, Gorgosaurus and more. Watch the UK’s most realistic full sized animatronic T-Rex come to life, but don’t stand too close to Dilophosaurus, you may get wet! Visit the park’s Dinosaur Museum where you can see fantastic and rare exhibits including a complete Allosaurus skeleton and one of the largest nest of fossilized eggs ever discovered.
Combe Martin Wildlife & Dinosaur Park is also home to a variety of exotic animals including African Lions, Baboons, Gibbons, Caybara, Lemurs, Sea lions, Penguins, Meerkats, Timber Wolves and rare Hudson Bay Wolves, one of only two collections in the UK where you can see these stunning white wolves. They have had another litter of pups recently so make sure you go to the daily wolf talk at their enclosure. The park's spectacular Sea lion show is not to be missed and you can meet some of their smaller residents up close at the daily animal antics show.
Don't forget to take a ride on the Dino Express, you will scream as seven and a half thousand gallons of water hurtle towards you and your fellow passengers! Or be brave enough to enter the park’s underground tomb for a fascinating insight into Egypt. Decipher the ancient art of picture writing with the exact replication of Egyptian hieroglyphics - but watch out for the mummy! If you love creepy crawlies you will enjoy wandering through the atmospheric Critter Cavern exhibit, the kingdom of Insects and other invertebrates! And if all of that doesn't wear you out make sure you visit the Park's 'Dinosaurus' playzone, a gigantic indoor soft play area for 'Dinomite' fun whatever the weather. Slides, tubes, scramble nets, rope bridges, ball pools and lots more to keep the children entertained while mum and dad's can relax over a cup of coffee.lot
If you want to prebook an extra amazing experience for the day of your visit such as feeding an African lion or swimming with a sea lion visit the parks website for more details. You can also pre book vouchers for a unique present!
