A few weeks ago we compiled our Ultimate Guide to Spending Easter Break in North Devon. However, now the Easter Holidays are here, we thought we’d put together a simple, go-to guide of the best things to do in North Devon during the Easter Break.
Featuring all the best Easter egg hunts, spring trails and family fun events – be sure to keep reading if you’re looking for inspiration on things to do in North Devon this Easter.
If you’re looking to combine a springtime activity with an Easter egg hunt, be sure to pay The Big Sheep a visit. They’ll be hosting the largest Easter egg hunt in North Devon – with a whopping 30,000 chocolate eggs to find! As well as having the chance to find a delicious egg, you’ll also be able to experience spring first hand by witnessing the arrival of newborn lambs. Watch them take their magical first steps, and you may even have the chance to bottle feed some of the orphan lambs!
The Milky Way Adventure Park are giving you the chance to journey down the rabbit hole and meet the Easter Bunny in person this Easter. Alongside this, they’ll also be holding an Easter Treasure Hunt where you’ll be challenged to search the park and find a selection of clues. At the end of your hunt, hand in your completed sheet to be in with a chance of winning a selection of great prizes!
Heading to Hartland Abbey and Gardens is the perfect place to witness beautiful spring flowers this Easter. Their bluebells stretch from the walled garden almost to the sea – a distance of nearly 2 miles! Entry prices are also reduced during this time. What better place to visit with all the family?
RHS Rosemoor have a range of fun events taking place during the Easter Holidays. They’ll be hosting a Lindt Gold Bunny Hunt between 24th March and 15th April for both the young and young at heart. The bunny hunt will give families a chance to explore the gardens in all their spring glory and find wonderful flowers, beautiful views and the iconic Lindt Gold Bunny!
Arlington Court, near Barnstaple, will be celebrating the start of spring by hosting a Spring Nature Trail this Easter. The trail focuses on the beautiful wildlife that can be seen at the National Trust site. Adults will enjoy taking in the scenery whilst children are amused with the interesting facts and clues along the way.
Will you be taking part in any of these events or things to do? Tell us over on our social media pages how you find them.
We’d also like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Happy Easter – we hope everyone enjoys their time in North Devon!
