SAUNTON BEACH VILLAS

Many of the Villas have been newly refurbished for 2018! Nine four-berth villas are now all back on the books after having undergone a recent refurbishment. They have all had a makeover with new recladding, improved dog proof fencing, and internal upgrades, while work is now working on improving more properties! So, if you’re lucky enough to have secured one for a 2018 break, you’ve got even more to look forward to!

WOOLACOMBE BAY HOLIDAY PARK’S NEW SURF VILLAGE

The new Surf Village at Woolacombe Bay Holiday Park is a vision of the future! The exclusive development costing millions of pounds has a coastal themed setting offering lots of space, privacy and sensational views. Choose from one of the expanded range of Surf Lodges with private hot tubs, the unique Surf Pod or a brand new luxury Gold, Platinum or Exclusive Azure Caravan.

The Surf Village opens on the 23rd March 2018 and the accommodation is available for three, four and seven night holidays and proving to be very popular. So if you are looking for a seaside sanctuary this is the place to stay.

OCEAN BACKPACKERS, ILFRACOMBE

As of this year, Ocean Backpackers can offer full catering to school groups as an option instead of using our self-catering kitchen! The youth hostel/surf lodge sleeps up to 54, and is popular with surfers, being just a short drive away from the sandy surf beaches of Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton Sands. They welcome groups of all sizes and any age of traveller that “enjoys the buzz of a backpackers and has a love of the great outdoors”.

A perfect setting for all ages wanting a holiday with a difference.

THE CARLTON HOTEL IN ILFRACOMBE

The Carlton Hotel is located by the Tunnels Beaches, a 10-minute walk from the maritime harbour and quay – perfectly placed to enjoy all the wonders that Ilfracombe has to offer. The striking Victorian building has a rich heritage, but step inside the hotel and you´ll be surrounded in modern luxury. Recent investment in our hotel has seen 23 bedrooms being individually redesigned and carefully fitted out to a deluxe, four-star standard.

GLEBE FARM COTTAGE/TARKA POTTERY

Glebe Farm Cottage, on-site at Tarka Pottery clay experience studio, offers a high standard of accommodation for an enjoyable holiday or short break. Families are welcome to meet and feed our animals during their stay, while potter Jax Williams offers Tarka Pottery Breaks, combining a two or three nights stay in the cottage with a tailored pottery programme to suit your interests and level of pottery experience so you could learn to throw on the wheel, try traditional hand-building techniques and explore colours using slips and glazes.

PILLOWERY PARK B&B, CLOVELLY

Pillowery Park was designed and built by Chris West during 1999/2000, and he now runs it as a B&B with his wife Sylvia. It’s the perfect setting for a relaxing stay in North Devon.
The house is situated in a quiet no through lane, with uninterrupted views across the countryside, coast and sea, with only the sound of the birds to wake you up in the morning. Bliss!

DARNLEY HOTEL, ILFRACOMBE

Built in 1921, the Darnley Hotel is set in its own tranquil gardens just yards away from Ilfracombe High Street. The seafront is also just a short walk from the hotel, while it boasts its own private wooded path, which is illuminated at night, leading down to the beginning of the high street. The award-winning grounds have a stunning variety of flora and fauna on show which entices mixed bird and animal life into the garden.

OLD KEEPERS COTTAGE B&B

Old Keepers Cottage is a charming old cottage with a wealth of character. A paradise for nature lovers, nestled in 30 acres of fields, countryside and woodland with stunning views across the valley and the River Torridge. Lovely woodland walks down to the river from the house where estuary and salt marsh-loving birds thrive. It’s just a five-minute drive from Westward Ho! with its gorgeous golden sandy beach.
