Our Award winning Café is situated adjacent to Barnstaple Railway Station, in the old Station Masters House which was designed by the Famous Architect Sir William Tite, who was also responsible for other buildings such as Windsor Riverside and the rebuilding of the Royal Exchange in London. We are a short distance from the popular Tarka trail and national cycle routes 3 & 27, and have our own private rose garden with ample seating, as well as our indoor seating.
We produce all our own traybakes and cakes on site, whilst our range of cooked breakfasts have ingredients sourced wherever possible from local producers. We serve hot food from when we open to a short time before we close, Your food is freshly cooked to order, by our kitchen team. Our food options include items such as Breakfasts to eat in but also a wide range of other products that can be eaten on the go or takeaway for your later on during your walk or cycle. We also have a range of home cooked products like our tray bakes that you can take home with you in gift boxes, along with some of our specially made souvenirs.
For parking there is a free short stay railway car park, a longer chargeable railway car park, along with other free timed parking nearby. Access from the train is really easy, just step off the train and walk across the platform to us, this gives easy access from all across Devon or indeed the UK! Alternatively, there are two bus stops directly outside, which serve routes to all across North Devon as well as direct to the main bus station.
Don’t forget to follow us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram to keep up with our latest news and offers.
We hope you come and visit our beautiful independent café and enjoy our lovingly made food.
