If you want the chance to sample some fresh, locally sourced food grown, prepared and served in the heart of the beautiful north Devon countryside, head to Lee Meadow’s farm shop and tea room. Based on the site of Lee Meadow Camping nestled among 27 acres of gorgeous farmland on Lee Meadow’s working farm, the farm shop and tea rooms are a great place to stop off for some refreshments or if you’re staying on site, the ideal place to grab essentials and fill up on an incredible farmhouse breakfast.
Located near the beautiful coastal town of Woolacombe, the farm shop stocks a whole range of fresh, locally sourced products all grown on the farm. The blue flag, award-winning beach of Woolacombe Bay is just 1 ¼ miles away, so visitors can create a picnic to take with them for a day on the beach or take a break from the sand to pop in for a treat.
The tea room has a wonderfully fresh seasonal menu with everything from a traditional farm house breakfast to home made cakes and Devon Cream Teas. While the Farm Shop stocks a large variety of fruit and vegetables, fresh bread and a selection of home-made pickles and chutneys.
Fresh BBQ meats are also available from the onsite butchers, which specialise in creating amazing food from the home reared animals. A popular choice are the North Devon sausages which are prepared ready for the BBQ, so guests staying on site and those that are just visiting for the day, can get themselves a locally reared meal.
