Dining at The Park

About

Enjoy mouth-watering fine dining in Barnstaple, awarded four stars, the team are very proud to offer our guests great dining in amazing surroundings. You have the choice between fine dining in the Seasons Brasserie restaurant, relaxed dining at the Seasons Bar or go alfresco with views over Rock Park. Seasons Brasseries is a contemporary, stylish restaurant and a fabulous place to enjoy fine food.

Whichever you prefer, you are guaranteed some of the best cuisine in North Devon, made with locally sourced, top quality fresh ingredients. Plus, we have a well-stocked wine cellar and bar offering an outstanding collection of drinks.

Seasons Bar & Brasserie

Every day, our chefs tempt you with an imaginative seasonal menu, all presented in the delightful ambience of our light and airy restaurant. The gleaming marble and contemporary styling is complemented by warm oak and soft lighting, creating a soothing, relaxing atmosphere. Great for a romantic meal for two, family dinner or a large party celebration for a birthday or anniversary. We do offer a dedicated children’s menu, so you need not worry about there being suitable food for our younger guests. We regularly host Dinner Dances on Saturday evenings, when our marvellous cuisine can be enjoyed in a wonderful party atmosphere. Whether or not you are staying at The Park, you are very welcome. Please call us today to reserve your table and peruse our extensive menus on our website.
The Seasons Bar offers modern contemporary décor and a spectacular outlook. Guests are welcome to enjoy a light meal or snack in the airy surrondings where French doors open out to our Sun Terrace, where they get grand views across the park and River Taw. The relaxed and friendly atmosphere makes this a place you will want to linger with friends over a morning coffee or Devonshire cream tea or a cocktail or two.

Sunday Carvery

Every Sunday, we serve Carvery Lunches in our elegant Seasons Brasserie, with no less than four meats to choose from! All this is presented with a perfect selection of fresh vegetables for a hugely satisfying dining experience. The Park Carvery is exceptionally popular with both guests and non-residents, so please call 01271 372166 to reserve your table in advance.
Carvery is served between 12 noon and 2pm every Sunday, with options for adults and children, plus a range of deserts, if you’ve the room and coffee.

Private dining

Choose The Park for your private dinner or dinner dance and you are firmly in charge! We will style the event exactly as you require it, from your choice of function room through to the character of the experience. The function room is perfect whatever you need, a small intimate lunch to a grand banquet, you’ll have a room with a fantastic party atmosphere. We can even dress the room to suit the theme of your private dining function.

If you are planning a large event, you will find that The Park Suite is ideal for up to 150 people for a banquet. This sensational room opens up onto a large glass-fronted balcony overlooking Rock Park. If you have a larger event in mind, please ask us what we could do to help, as we can sometimes cater for larger parties in Seasons Restaurant. If you would like a more intimate event, discover The Taw Suite. Partitioned off from Seasons Bar, this stunning and versatile room will accommodate up to 25 people.

Whatever option you prefer, you will soon discover why The Park has a reputation as the best private dining venue in Barnstaple. Whether you’re staying with us on holiday or are just visiting for a special occasion, you’ll be impressed by our impeccable menus and service.
