Holsworthy: Holsworthy market is every Wednesday 9am – 2pm. There is a range of local produce including – fresh fruit and vegetables, fish, meat and poultry and artisan baked goods, plus gifts and much more!
Great Torrington: Great Torrington Pannier Market was built in 1842 but the building gradually deteriorated and in 1948 the complete roof was removed. October 1999 saw the whole building being refurbished and redeveloped. There are a number of retail units/craft workshops and a cafe which are open Monday to Saturday from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm and Market Hall contains the weekly General Market stalls on Fridays and Saturdays.
Bideford: The historic covered Pannier Market trades on Tuesday through to Saturday, whilst Butchers’ Row and the Market Place Shops are open Monday to Saturday and is a favourite with tourists and residents alike. You will find the Pannier Market by walking up the High Street and taking a left turn into Grenville Street, the building stands fair and square ahead of you.
Hartland: Hartland Farmers' Market is held in the Parish Hall in Hartland, North Devon on the first Sunday each month, except January. Opening hours are 10 – 1 & they normally have 25+ producers. The market is always changing with different producers coming, the products are virtually all made locally by local people from within a 25 mile radius. We usually have sour dough bread, local cheese, organic fruit & vegetables, venison, fish, herbal remedies, cakes, locally roasted coffee, honey & beeswax candles, pickles, chutneys & preserves, outdoor reared pork, lamb & beef, local wine beer, cider & apple juice, chocolate & fudge, vegetarian, vegan, gluten free & normal baking, plants, soap & more.
Appledore: The Appledore Farmers Market is held on the Quay in the summer months and in Churchfields car park during the winter on the first Saturday of every month. Their range of stallholders varies from fresh fruit and veg to delicious homemade cakes and artisan bread. Their lineup is subject to change each month so if you don’t see your favourite business at this month’s market, be sure to visit again next time!
