Stowford Farm Meadows is a family friendly Caravan & Camping Site located in North Devon. Stowford has excellent facilities, including an indoor swimming pool bars restaurant horse riding crazy golf and more!
Stowford Farm Meadows is situated amongst 500 acres of woodland and rolling countryside, so is perfect for anyone looking for a family friendly touring caravan site, a touring park for your motorhome holiday, or simply a great camping pitch. In addition, we have five brand new luxury Holiday Cottages to choose from, for anyone looking for a rural location, but aren’t that keen on camping! Stowford Farm Meadows has a superb rural comping and caravan site for you to use as a base to explore the best that North Devon has to offer.
All the touring caravan site essentials are well looked after, with five spacious amenity blocks, all with laundry facilities attached, disabled facilities and family bathroom. We also have pitches available for larger motorhomes and RVs, but please do make sure to contact us before making a special journey as these pitches are very popular. Our holiday cottages are styled with a modern touch whilst keeping a cosy countryside feel. On arrival guests will find ready-made beds and a homemade Devonshire cream tea!
All our cottages include smart TVs, underfloor heating, cosy wood burner with logs, fully fitted kitchen, complimentary toiletries, car parking, an enclosed patio and more!
Close to the sandy surfing beaches of Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton Sands and numerous local attractions, Stowford can offer a choice of pitches including traditional grass premier pitches and hard-standings all with electric hook-up. There are plenty of activities and facilities on site such as horse riding, crazy golf and a 9-hole pitch and putt. The kids will love Petorama, Stowford's undercover mini zoo or perhaps a swim in our large indoor heated swimming pool. We also have play areas sports fields and woodland walks to keep you entertained when you’re not exploring the rest of Devon.
As a dog friendly site, Stowford has several dog walking areas on site with an extensive network of Woodland Walks and even a dog day kennels should you fancy a dog free outing. We understand how important your four-legged friends are, which is why we have a range of facilities to welcome you and your pets to our site. Our new holiday cottages all accept pets and we allow dogs in four out of our five camping and caravanning fields. North Devon is a truly fantastic location for anyone wanting a dog friendly holiday, there are so many places to explore, from the wild, open moorland and rugged coastal beauty of the Exmoor National Park, to beaches and even attractions. There are golden, sandy surfing, dog friendly beaches at Woolacombe and Saunton, which also happen to be great for families and relaxing, so the choice is endless.
Stowford has five spacious amenity blocks throughout the site all with laundry facilities and free hot showers. There are disabled facilities, family bathrooms, a licensed well-stocked shop with ATM, two bars (with family friendly evening entertainment in High Season) a licensed restaurant and takeaway. You can choose from the Old Stable Bars, where you can find great food, great drinks and great company or the Oak House Restaurant and the Fisherman’s Quay, which has a variety of new and exciting menus and where you can get breakfast and lunch for the days you don’t feel like cooking. The Fishermans’ Quay is open daily for freshly cooked fish and chips, handmade pizza and more family take away favourites.
