Longlands' five luxury safari lodges, and holiday cottage The Long Barn, nestle into the hillside.... Enjoy 17 acres of beautiful countryside, a wild swimming lake, stream side walks ...even an onsite shop and a selection of food cooked and delivered to the door of your tent. Each lodge can sleep up to 6 in a King bed, a double cabin bed and 2 twin beds and has its own ensuite shower and separate wash room. We are also happy to welcome up to 2 dogs per lodge.
There is a wood burning stove to keep you toastie warm whilst you curl up on one of the vintage Chesterfield sofas. We have tried to think of everything that you'll need for your stay, from firewood to firelighters, coffee to candles and lemons to loo paper: you should only need to bring your clothes!
We can also provide catering, organise activities, provide details of the best pubs and restaurants...you name it! Our coastal location and proximity to Exmoor means that there are endless opportunities for fun and adventure: Surf some waves! Paddle along the coast. Fly like a bird. Hack to Hunters Inn. Gallop along the beach. Abseil down a cliff. Launch yourself into the sea!
We like to think of ourselves as a "Boutique Hotel with canvas sides" but perhaps our guests are best placed to describe us: "Absolute perfection - beautiful, comfortable - extraordinary mix of luxury and simplicity in a setting of incomparable beauty. An inspiration!"
