Few settings could be as serene and beautiful as that of Bossington Hall, exquisite bed and breakfast accommodation with a self-catering apartment, surrounded by the wild Exmoor countryside and the Heritage Coast of Bossington Bay on the Bristol Channel, very near pretty Porlock with it’s characterful streets, shops and country pubs. Just ten minutes off the South West Coast Path, it’s an ideal walkers location.
Designed and maintained in keeping with the opulent elegance of the 1920s Arts and Crafts movement, the Grade Two listed hall sits in eight acres of grounds offering magnificent gardens with a small waterfall and breath-taking views. A perfect place to walk around or simply rest while recharging energies and relaxing the mind and body. At night time, the local sky is perfect for stargazing or observing meteor showers.
The House itself is an attraction and observant guests will relish unusually precise attention to every detail of the property, thanks to the sky-high standards of Guy, formerly an aircraft design engineer. The room signs are hand crafted and the door locks have individually crafted keys. There is an electric vehicle charging point and recreational facilities including tennis, badminton and squash courts, a children’s play area and even a 9-seat cinema.
Its perfect location gives easy access to outdoors activities to the more adventurous visitors. Water activities, Mountain biking, Hiking, Archery or Coasteering are some of the activities that can be accessed from Bossington Hall.
Bed and breakfast accommodation here is luxurious and attentive, with superbly appointed guest bedrooms with en-suite or private bathrooms. Guests share a sumptuous lounge and the sunniest of dining rooms, and the breakfast is prepared with carefully selected fresh and locally produced ingredients, which not only supports the local community but also guarantees a healthy and high-quality meal for our guests.
Please note the one bedroom Accessible Apartment is Self Catering ONLY and the B&B options are not available to the self catering guests.
