Comedienne Rosie Jones has been travelling around the UK to find the most accessible destinations for a new Channel 4 show, Mission: Accessible, which forms part of the VisitEngland and VisitBritain Escape the Everyday Campaign.
Businesses and destinations around the UK are encouraged to join in the campaign on social media by promoting their own accessible experiences to inspire visitors with additional needs to visit when it is safe to do so.
In the series, Rosie is joined by fellow comedians, James Acaster, Kemah Bob, Harriet Kemsley and Masie Adam as she travels around Britain and stress tests activities from a disabled person’s perspective. She is on a mission to help a different disabled person in each episode plan a fun filled trip in Britain suited to their specific needs to create the ultimate guide to accessible British staycations. The show will then air on Channel 4’s digital platforms.
If you run an accessible business make sure to get involved on social media by sharing your own accessible top tips.
