Our venue offers 14 function rooms accommodating one to one meetings through to a conference for 280 delegates. All of our function rooms offer natural daylight and complimentary Wi-Fi. Our 50 bedrooms offer an escape from the hustle and bustle. You’ll stay in roomssteeped in history and heritage and wake up to breath-taking views across landscapes of the Dartington estate.
For celebratory or corporate dinners, the magnificent Great Hall with original leaded windows and oak hammer beams, provides the perfect backdrop for banqueting for between 50 - 150 guests.
We support local producers, some from our own estate, and offer seasonal, locally sourced produce in our menus lovingly prepared by our talented estate chefs. Buffet lunches and dinners are served in our medieval feasting hall. Private dining is available on request.
The inspiring variety of ancient and modern buildings, set within a 1200 acre estate, provide a glorious setting making Dartington Hall the perfect venue for your forthcoming event.
Fun team building days are available to book on the estate. We work with partners to create bespoke team building days for your event. Dynamic Adventures based on the Dartington estate offer archery, orienteering, canoeing, rock climbing, zip wire and high ropes, laser clay pigeon shooting, raft building as well as themed team building days. Themed days such as ‘007’, ‘Star Wars’, ‘The Fugitive’, ‘Pirates’ and ‘Shipwrecked’ are available.
Wildwise, also based on the estate, deliver an exciting, diverse programme of courses, camps and events to inspire and inform about the natural world. A wide range of hunter-gatherer skills will feature, including bow-drill fire making, shelter-building, and the preparations and practices of the ‘sacred hunt’. The team will introduce the safe use of cutting tools and support the participants to make various useful items to take away with them.

Farmer for a Day
Why not spend an exclusive day on the Dartington estate with farmers Jon and Lynne Perkin, running the goat and Jersey dairy herds at Old Parsonage Farm. Bespoke days can be developed to suit all abilities and farming desires but usually they go something like this...
Rise with the dawn chorus to start at 6.30am, ready for the first milking session of the day. Then it’s feeding, watering and bedding up the animals. All the animals also enjoy a bit of company – the goats are particularly playful and the cows like nothing better than a good grooming.
After a hearty farmhouse breakfast the day may take you in any direction (as all farmers know!) – you could find yourself up to your elbows delivering the newest arrivals at the farm, helping to move herds around the estate or getting involved in land management tasks like fencing and hedge laying.
There’ll certainly be plenty of opportunities to try your hand at milking in both the cow and goat parlours. The day finishes at 6pm, following the afternoon milking of the friendly purebred Jersey herd. By the end of the day you’ll certainly know what Devon farm life feels like.
Devon Gin School
You’ll walk, talk, sniff and taste through our range of botanicals as our experts guide you to a blend you like. You’ll measure out and blend your botanicals and ‘load’ the still. While the still is heating up and distilling your gin, you’ll have an opportunity to design your own label to be printed and stuck on the bottle.
At the end of the session, your gin is ready and can be put into a 35cl bottle, where it is sealed and has your label attached ready for you to take away.
