Roadford Lake Café and Venue

About

Conveniently located just minutes off the A30 between Okehampton and Launceston, Roadford Lake Café and Venue is a must visit on your next Devon adventure. Take advantage of the stunning views overlooking Roadford Lake whilst enjoying our delicious range of light lunches, homemade cakes, locally made ice cream, gluten-free alternatives, hot and cold drinks and daily specials in a friendly and relaxed environment.

At Roadford we pride ourselves on only using high quality produce, sourced locally and homemade where possible.

The café offers something for all ages, from the stunning views to the adjoining children’s play area. The perfect location for a family day out, lunch with friends, breakfast after a morning of sailing or just simply a place to walk the dog and enjoy the views. It is also the ideal starting point to explore the extensive walks and cycle routes or a place to relax and refuel after a day of activities across the water at the Activity Centre.

Gift Shop

In addition to the café you will also find a well-stocked gift shop at Roadford offering a variety of gifts to suit all the family including jewellery, handbags, greetings cards, kitchen ware, toys, books and much more. If you are looking for that special something ... look no further.

Dog Friendly

We know that your 4 legged friends also love Roadford Lake, which is why we allow dogs in the café all year round. All we ask is that owners keep their dogs on a lead and under control at all times.

Play Area

Your little adventurers can enjoy the play area, located close to the café, or simply let off steam in the grounds, whilst you sit back and relax whilst enjoying the stunning lake views.
