Dining at The Park

About

The Park Hotel is home to Seasons Brasserie, an AA Rosette winning 4-star dining restaurant opposite a beautiful park in Barnstaple, North Devon.

When looking for mouth-watering dining at The Park Hotel, you have the choice between fine dining at the pre-mentioned Seasons Brasserie restaurant or relaxed dining at the Seasons Bar which included alfresco tables with views over Rock Park.

Seasons Brasseries is a contemporary, stylish restaurant and a fabulous place to enjoy fine food.

Whichever dining option you prefer, you are guaranteed some of the best cuisine in North Devon, made with locally sourced, top quality fresh ingredients. Plus, the hotel has a well-stocked wine cellar and bar offering an outstanding collection of drinks.

Seasons Bar & Brasserie

Every day, a talented team of chefs tempt you with an imaginative seasonal menu, all presented in the delightful ambience of a light and airy restaurant. The gleaming marble and contemporary styling is complemented by warm oak and soft lighting, creating a soothing, relaxing atmosphere. It all add up, perfect for a romantic meal for two, family dinner or a large party celebration for a birthday or anniversary.

The Park Hotel offers a dedicated children’s menu, so you need not worry about there being suitable food for younger guests.

The hotel also regularly hosts Dinner Dances on Saturday evenings, when marvellous cuisine can be enjoyed in a wonderful party atmosphere.

Whether or not you are staying at The Park, everyone is very welcome. Make sure you call ahead to reserve your table and peruse the extensive menus on their website.

The Seasons Bar

The Seasons Bar offers modern contemporary décor and a spectacular outlook. Guests are welcome to enjoy a light meal, snack or drink in the airy surroundings where French doors open out to a Sun Terrace. There are grand views across the park and River Taw.

The relaxed and friendly atmosphere makes it a place you will want to linger with friends over a morning coffee, Devonshire Cream Tea or a cocktail or two.

Sunday Carvery

Every Sunday, the hotel serves Carvery Lunches in the elegant Seasons Brasserie, with no less than four meats to choose from! It's presented with a perfect selection of fresh vegetables for a hugely satisfying dining experience. The Park Carvery is exceptionally popular with both guests and non-residents, so again please call ahead on 01271 372166 to reserve your table in advance.
Carvery is served between 12pm and 2pm every Sunday, with options for adults and children, plus a range of deserts and coffee.

Private dining

When you choose The Park for your private dinner or grand event, you are firmly in charge! The experienced team will style the event exactly as you require it, from your choice of function room through to the character of the experience. The hotel's function room is perfect for whatever you may need - from a small intimate lunch to a grand banquet, you’ll have a room with a fantastic party atmosphere. They can even dress the room to suit the theme of your private dining function.

If you are planning a large event, you will find that The Park Suite is ideal for up to 150 people for a banquet. This sensational room opens up onto a large glass-fronted balcony overlooking Rock Park. If you have a larger event in mind, ask the team what they could do to help, as they can sometimes cater for larger parties in Seasons Restaurant too.

If you would like a more intimate event, discover The Taw Suite. Partitioned off from Seasons Bar, this stunning and versatile room will accommodate up to 25 people.

Whatever option you prefer, you will soon discover why The Park Hotel has a reputation as the best private dining venue in Barnstaple. Whether you’re staying with them on holiday or are just visiting for a special occasion, you’ll be impressed by their impeccable menus and service - especially at The Seasons Brasserie with its AA Rosette status!
