Dining at The Devon Hotel

About

Carriages Brasserie

With English and Continental cuisine, as well as popular dishes from around the world, Carriages Brasserie is a wonderful place for lunch or dinner. Set in the heart of the original Georgian manor house, Carriages evokes romance. Daily carvery is available and has a reputation as one of the very best anywhere in the South West of England. People travel from miles around to enjoy our succulent joints of meat and freshly prepared vegetables!

Non-residents are welcome. Please call us to reserve your table at this top restaurant in Exeter.

Private dining

At the Devon Hotel in Exeter you can enjoy a private dinner, lavish banquet or intimate lunch party especially for you and your friends and family. We offer four stunning function rooms available for private dining and functions. The Georgian Suite is ideal for up to 12 people. The Edwardian Suite is just right for up to 25. For larger parties check out The Victorian Suite, with it's own bar which accommodates up to 80 and our largest function room, The Regency Suite is self–contained and can take up to 160 people, with its own entrance, bar, toilets and a ramp for wheelchair access. If you would like to hold a ‘Dinner and Dance’ event, why not hire both The Edwardian Suite and The Victorian Suite, which can be laid out as interconnecting to create an adjoining area for music and dancing.
