Dine in style in North Devon at the Highbullen Hotel.
At Highbullen Hotel, we can offer a range of different dining options, from fine dining to the classic Devon cream tea. Devon is home to some of the finest food providers in the UK and we work closely with a number of local suppliers to include the best ingredients in our menus.
Guests and hotel residents can choose from a range of different dining experiences. There are also options available for those looking for private dining occasions, whether it is an intimate celebration or corporate entertaining. Our Devon View Restaurant is our fine dining restaurant and is ideal for private groups of up to twenty. Our team of chefs create menus using locally sourced ingredients to offer a wonderful dining experience. Each day, guests can enjoy a new selection of meals, as the menu changes every day. Having been recently refurbished, The Devon View Restaurant is the place to go for intimate dining, as well as being able to provide private dining facilities for entertaining and special occasions. Guests can enjoy a stunning view of the rolling Devon hills from the panoramic windows, down to the Mole Valley and towards Exmoor, creating an unrivalled setting to enjoy the best of Devon’s local produce. The Devon View Restaurant is open daily for breakfast and dinner as well as a traditional Sunday lunch.
For more casual dining, head to the Cellars, our restaurant and bar with the adjacent Billiards Room. It is a cosy and comfortable area to relax, enjoy a drink and good company, we well as a more informal dining option. The Cellars is our main hotel bar and casual restaurant, perfect for a relaxing pre dinner drink or somewhere to enjoy an informal lunch. Families will love the specially created children’s menu and the children will relish the chance to draw their waiter during their meal! Food is available every day from 12 noon.
Just off the Cellars Bar is the Billiard Room, where guests can find a full size snooker table and other games, making it a great place to unwind after a long day.
The Drawing Room and Morning Room offer true Devon hospitality, ideal for coffee or a traditional Devon Cream Tea with beautiful views from inside or outside on the terrace and lawn.
If you’re interested in a quiet, calm place to enjoy a tea, our stunning Laura Ashley The Tea Room is the perfect place to take in the unrivalled view across to Exmoor whilst enjoying a delicious brunch, Afternoon Tea or Cream Tea. The Laura Ashley Tea Room is our most recent eatery and offers guests the chance to experience the great British tradition of tea in a distinctive Laura Ashley style. You’ll have the choice from a selection of home made cream teas, full afternoon teas and children’s afternoon teas.
There is an extensive food menu offering a range of hot and cold foods which are all simply exquisite.
Sample menus are available to download from our website and give an indication of the type of cuisine on offer, including options for special dietary requirements and allergen information.
